We're back!

Bring out the bunting!  We are back!  Rested, revived and ready for lots of fun, promotion, networking & cake as we head into the Autumn! 

We hope that you have all had a super Summer!

Behind the scenes we have been busy with the imminent publication of our 2nd Newsletter and working on our Showcase Magazine that we hope to share with you really soon!  It's going to be good!

We have also been working on how we can extend the fabulous promotions on FB that work so well onto Twitter.  We have come up with some great Twitter packages that we hope you will like!

There is the 1 day Twitter Boost package, perfect if you are wanting to showcase a new item or have news to spread.  

There is also now a 7 day package Twitter 140²  that  will get you out there far and wide.  This runs over 7 consecutive days for maximum effect.

There are 2 exciting new options open and available to you to book....

The first is Twitter Boost

This is available to book on a daily basis and over a 24 hour period you will receive a total of 20 tweets with up to 4 unique links of your choice.  These can be to your shop, a particular item, your fb page or your blog. 5 of these tweets will have photos attached to them for greater exposure on Twitter. In addition your @twittername will be used so that your account will gain exposure leading to more followers for you. After booking you must email britishcrafters@gmail.com with your choice of date and your 4 links.

The second option is Twitter 140²

This is available to book on a weekly basis.  Over 7 consecutive days (Mon - Sun) you will get 140 Tweets - 20 a day in each 24 hour period. You get to choose 10 unique links of your choice.  These can be to your shop, a particular item, your fb page or your blog. 5 of these tweets a day will have photos attached to them for greater exposure on Twitter. In addition your @twittername will be used in some of the tweets so that your account will gain exposure leading to more followers for you. After booking you must email britishcrafters@gmail.com with your choice of date and your 10 links.

If you don't have Twitter then you can still use our Twitter Promotional Services as essentially it will drive people to your shop.

In the future we do plan to have Twitter Start Up packages that will be available to book where we will guide you from the setting up of your account, help you with your first tweets and explain how to get a Twitter account that really works for you!  More details to follow on this....soon!

Traditional Promotion

This works brilliantly and is what we have been offering for almost a year now. The our customers have been very pleased with increased traffic/sales and most go on to rebook with us :)

What you get for this is

a. A Featured Spot on Facebook with a shop link to your item and an uploaded photo plus a link to your fb page. (Bringing you new likes to your fb page too!)

b. 3 tweets to your featured item using #britcraftplus

c. Pinned to the Featured Shops Pinterest Board for that month. (promoted all month)

d. A Stumbleupon Review for your item.

Of course we will continue to work our FB page as before with a good number of free shares and in order to keep the wonderful dynamic of the page we will continue to do free shares with fb only links and will also limit the number  of paid slots available each day.  Once that number is achieved it will be marked on the drop down menu as "sold out"

Our Twitter promotions will also be limited in number as we value our followers and don't want them to switch us off if we are tweeting promotions too much!  We want to keep them all so that they will spend money in your shops!

Summer Days are Happy Days

Well it certainly seems like Summer has arrived in the South of England with lovely hot days like they used to be in the memories of my childhood!

We have had an exciting Summer so far and have continued to grow and thrive this term, this is especially true on Facebook where despite Mr FB best efforts to hide everyone, your liking, sharing and commenting keeps the reach of the page high and sales have been incredible!  We are nearly at 12K likers which is very exciting and certainly a cause for celebration! (not that we need an excuse!)

Twitter has been fabulous for us too with in excess of 15K followers, many like minded who retweet to push your work our further and further!  We plan to offer a form of Twitter promotion to purchase in the early autumn - watch this space! We will also be having a weekly #britcraft hour (timings tbc) where people can network and benefit from our hug following!

We launched a Newsletter, with the First Edition being published last weekend. Very exciting and a great way to keep you up to date with all the latest goings on and there will also be some special offers!  You can subscribe at the top of the Newsletter if you want to get Edition 2 pinging into your Inbox in August!

Summer's On It's Way! (Honest!)

It does feel as if we were teased a little with the sun and now it has vanished!  Hopefully it will be back with us very soon! We have had an exciting few weeks at British Crafters and are very pleased that we broke through 10000 likers on Facebook!  We are also at over 13000 followers on Twitter which means that your work is being spread and promoted further than ever before! We are planning a Gala Charity Evening very soon to celebrate, hopefully the details will be finalised in the next week or so. Sales have been high from the fb page and we are also generating some sales for Featured Shops from our Pinterest Boards via Twitter!  This is very exciting and long may it continue! April Showers Bring May Flowers - or so they say!

The saying goes that "April showers bring May flowers!" I certainly am on for a beautiful garden if this is so!  I hope that you all had a fab Easter and have recovered from all the chocolate indulgence!
